Our students will be building their vocabulary through each semester, culminating in a writing project utilizing all the words we have worked on throughout the year.  Your child will be presented with their written story in bound book form to take home at the end of the year. This project will teach them basic writing, editing, and revising skills. Parents, you can help your child by practicing their vocabulary each week by utilizing flashcards or having them write sentences using each word to show they understand the definition of the word.
